Four horses. One portable studio. A late-evening setup outside the barn in The Gap (Brisbane)—complete with carrots, cordless lights, a surprise frog cameo, and portraits that made us (and the owners) a little teary. Here’s how we photographed Ivy (Blithe Spirit), Pepys, Poppy (Beersheba) and Wren (Fire of London) in early December, with comfort and calm leading every step.
If you love dogs, markets, and a relaxed morning by the bay, Dogs on the Green Brisbane is worth adding to your calendar.
The event takes place Saturday 20 June from 8.30am to 2pm at George Clayton Park, Wynnum. Entry and parking are free, and leashed dogs are welcome.
Expect more than 70 dog related stalls, plenty of food and coffee trucks, and a park full of happy pups enjoying the day with their humans.
